Update from the blogosphere # 73 – Flower Power

Everyone and everything seems to have suddenly perked up with this fabulous sunshine. It really does seem to make all things better, and it couldn’t have come at a better time with Chelsea Flower show opening this week and the Jubilee celebrations next week. Finally us Brits are getting a glimpse of what a summer, and we are loving it. Taking a look at the blogs, everyone is in a good mood, and floral fever seems to be on their minds!

Jamie London from Feed Me Clothes blogspot put together this gorgeous collage of this season’s hottest items rocking the fabulously floral trend. As he says, they’re perfect for weddings, garden parties, work and play and we love the new crop of garden prints for SS12. Head to the blog to find out where to get these gorgeous looks, and don’t forget we’ve got more flower power in our Floral Fancies sale over on Facebook. Just head here to enter the sale for up to 77% off beautiful blooming pieces.

Over on Bargainista Fashionista we spotted these gorgeous silk floral trousers, just like the ones the A-Listers have been …

Festival dressing – what wear

When the sun’s shining, there’s nothing more we like doing than heading outside and soaking up the rays. All benches and Starbucks tables were taken and the green was awash with RayBans and pasty skin frantically trying to get a slight bronze at lunch! Yes, the summer finally seems to be here and we are lapping it up!

With tonnes of outdoor events over the summer, we’re getting super excited about the festivals we have planned. Of course, we always want to look the part and every event seems to have a different theme! But don’t panic, if it’s boho at Latitude, rock at Reading & Leeds or pop cute at V, we’ve got all your wardrobe/tent dilemas sorted with our Festival Shop. With brands like Glamorous, Hunter, Liquorish, Muubaa, Orion London, Religion, Ruby Rocks, and much much more all at up to 65% off, with these gorgeous pieces you’ll be the one’s taking centre stage in the fashion stakes. Come rain or shine (but more likely to be rain as this weather is too good to be true!) you’re festival …

Update from the blogosphere #68 – London Marathon Weekend

What a miserable week we’ve had. The skies have been grey, with frequent showers and even the odd hailstorm. But enough of the weather report, it’s the weekend and that’s as good a reason as any to be excited, not least that it’s London Marathon weekend! Any kind of event that brings people together makes us here at BrandAlley HQ very happy and reading through your blogs over the week we’ve seen that everyone is getting into the spirit.

We saw on Bargainista Fashionista that the second instalment of Nike x Liberty has launched and we’re impressed with the new footwear. With fab prints and on-trend styles, like this pair that have a concealed heel like Isabel Marant’s very popular versions (stylish, but not so great to run in) they’re sure to be a hit this season. There are lots of pairs to choose from so head to Bargainista Fashionista’s blog to find out where to get them.

If you’re heading down then why not make like Clare from Rainbows and Fairydust and rock the sports luxe look? It’s pretty much the perfect place to work this style without stepping too far out …
