Flicking through the magazines and watching the celebs walk the red carpet; it’s easy to see why they look so darn good; they’re always kitted out in the most gorgeous designer pieces! We like to think that if we had the opportunity to wear a Badgley Mischka gown teamed with statement Mawi jewels and a CC Skye clutch, we’d be looking a little more A-list. Well ladies, that opportunity is here. Let me introduce you to Wish Want Wear.
Created by 3 girls with a love of the finer designer things, Wish Want Wear is a booming business with over 400 luxury pieces that you can hire for 4-8 days at a time at a fraction of the price. So if you’ve ever dreamed of wearing that gorgeous Temperley London dress but just couldn’t warrant the ÂŁ1915 price tag, fear not. With Wish Want Wear you can look the part at a snippet of the cost. And if you’re anything like us, those amazing statement pieces don’t come out that often, …
Over the Jubilee weekend, the Duchess of Cambridge wowed the crowds with her fabulous ensembles and it’s easy to see why Kate has become the sweetheart of Britain. Her style status is rocketing and where she goes, we’re quick to follow.
Kate is relatable, recycling items from previous looks as well as looking to earlier seasons to pick up the perfect piece. Take for instance the gorgeous red Alexander McQueen number. We were quite surprised to see that she took some styling tips from the unlikely Tulisa and Kim Kardashian who had both worn a version last year! Nevertheless, K-Middy made it her own with stunning accessories as well as a more demure, covered up version. A dress like this costs in the range of ÂŁ1200 and although we love it, we’re not ready to be blowing that much cash…especially when we can pick up a similar dress from Pink Label for just ÂŁ49! We love the dropped waist and pleated skirt, it reminds us of the Victoria Beckham edition with scalloped edge from her debut collection.  It exudes playful chic and is perfect for any office to bar …
Thank goodness it’s Friday, because it’s time for our blog round up! It’s the perfect end to a manic London Fashion Week filled seven days! (it goes very well with a cup of tea and a digestive!)
With the commencement of LFW, what better way to close than focusing on the weeks happening – yes we thought it was a good idea too.
We are super jealous of the lovely Sandra from 5 inch and up! She was lucky enough to go backstage at John Rocha and see previews of Temperley, and photograph all the models and generally all the things that you don’t usually get to see! Not to worry, she’s posted all of her LFW coverage on her blog.
Sandra wasn’t the only one to get in on the action, Reena Rai of Fashion Daydreams also made the most of the fashion on parade and made it to Ashley Isham’s and Bernard Chandran’s shows, (we loved the eye-popping colours).
For a further overview of the past fashion filled week, Disney Roller Girl is the go-to fashionista for highlights from each day from Topman menswear and …

As well as a sneak peak to what BrandAlley is offering tomorrow here are some interesting fashionista facts on Temperley…
Temperley was launched during London Fashion Week in 2000 and since then the label has become known worldwide by celebrities and fashion followers alike, for its timeless glamour and exquisite collections. Future Princess, Kate Middleton is a fan of the brand along with super model Helena Christensen. (What says chic and fabulous like a Princess and a super model?)
Just two years later, Temperley’s first boutique was opened in London’s uber cool Notting Hill from which three further stand-alone stores have opening in New York (2003), LA (2005) and Dubai (2008).
Each year Temperley produces four collections including a Bridal, Accessories line; their exclusive “Black Label” collection of exquisite red-carpet event ready dresses and a highly sought-after Ready-To-Wear line. (We for one would like to get our hands …
