So Spring is here, and as much as we’ve loved having our onesies to keep us warm throughout the long winter nights, now is the time to give them a fling and embrace the trends of Spring.
To help you see out the season in style, here are 3 key trends that will continue to pack a punch this season…
MONOCHROME
Eternally flattering and always in fashion, monochrome is once again a big trend this season. From stripes and squares to geometric print, this is a look that never fails to make an impact and throughout the Spring this will be no exception. So make like Miley Cyrus and other celebrities, who’ve proven that monochrome is far from monotone…
FLORALS
The floral fantasies of the past few seasons continue to flourish throughout the Spring… This romantic revival is likely to be in full swing for quite some time, so embrace your inner English Rose and enjoy the power that the flower can have on the most mundane of outfits… Proving that floral doesn’t have to be floaty, this cute blazer from Hoss Intropia is the ideal item for those less …

LFW is over and what a week it was! Fashionistas were out in force roaming the streets of London and inspiring us to be a little more adventurous in our everyday looks. We headed down to the exquisite Somerset House to soak up some style and find out what’s going to be hot next year.

Leathers were toughened up with studs and spikes, paying particular attention to the shoulder area.  In fact, this trend is clearly very popular as we spotted a spikey headband too (sorry no photo of this one). The androgynous look was seen on both guys and girls and we utterly love how this one item instantly rocks an outfit. Worn with almost anything, it’s a must-have!

Neon still had a hold on us this LFW with bright yellow being a particular favourite with the fashion savvy. From shoes to jumpers and jackets, this colour popped drawing the right attention from all of us there.

Floral fever hasn’t dampened with the cold and we’re sure this botanical print will be seen right through to next year. We love this novel way of working the trend.

Bring on the hot weekend! After a super busy week here at BrandAlley HQ, we are so excited to relax in the sun. Of course we’ll be wearing a flash of neon because if you hadn’t already spotted, neon is a big trend right now. Even the athletes at the Olympics were rocking the look with their neon trainers!

Like magpies, sparkly things normally catch our eye. But when we saw this beautiful collage of all things neon on Blu Kat Kraft’s blogspot, we were totally drawn in and our obsession with neon intensified. Check out Blu Kat Kraft’s blog here to find out where you can get your hands on some of these amazing colour popping pieces. Our personal favourite is the Zero+Maria Cornejo Kou draped stretch-silk top. Matched with a subtle tan and neutral colours, this statement jacket is a definite wow piece.

Speaking of what to wear your neons with, Mae Gal’s blog has 3 fab outfits. Neons aren’t the easiest colours to match, but if you’re up for it, why not colour block? The Zero+Maria …

Hurrah – it’s Friday and the payday weekend so we’re in major celebration mood here at BrandAlley HQ. If you’re anything like us, splurging on some must-have items is always the first port of call. It’s always times to treat ourselves after a long hard month so we’ve been scouring the blogosphere to find this seasons hottest accessories and were not disappointed with what we saw. What do you first do with your hard earned cash?

Over on Do You Speak Gossip blogspot, we spotted these two amazing bags in this season’s best and brightest shades. Neon was huge last season, but this piece of arm candy is still as hot as ever, and the textured ostrich skin finish is tres chic! We’re loving the two tone clutch too, brilliantly on trend as not only is colour blocking big news for SS12, tonal looks are too so this little gem is a bit of a double whammy!

We’ve covered shopper, clutch and now on Bargainista Fashionista we’re looking at over-the –body satchels too! The limited-edition tangerine bag from  The Cambridge Satchel Company is eye-catching and perfect for all …
