If you didn’t already love London, the Olympics have surely got you in the mood to take to the capital and enjoy the festivities. And it’s not just for the sports mad or Olympic hype, Covent Garden this week has launched another lust lovely pop up shop. It’s not just us who are thinking it’s become the new go-to shop haven; the blogosphere seems to be Covent Garden mad at the moment. Long live the London reign!

A fan of the make-over Covent Garden is having is Disney Roller Girl who took tonnes of gorgeous snaps of the new pop up store. This is the first time Chanel has had a beauty pop-up in Europe and they’ve not done it by half. With a shape-and-paint nail bar, you’re given a luxury shopping experience. They’ve even got walk-in make-up counters and according to Disney Roller Girl they’ll have beauty vending machines too! We’re not sure this is in-keeping with such a luxury brand but it’s a novel way to sell.

Mademoiselle Poirot also hit to the new pop-up and like Disney Roller Girl took lots of gorgeous pics. Head to the blog to take a look at them all and why not indulge in a bit of girly heaven. There are lots of lovely things to do in Covent Garden so have a mosey and spend an afternoon enjoying the culture.

If you’re still looking for things to do, Rookie Creative has put together a great blog with a ‘Top 5 Fashionable Things to do during the Olympics’. Like they say, designers, shops and restaurants alike have got into the spirit, with limited edition pieces and events popping up all over the city. Check out Karl Lagerfeld’s pop up in Oxford Street or Stella McCartney’s flagship store to mix a bit of fashion and sport. It’s not about escaping a bit of sporting fever; it’s embracing everything our great city has to offer.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the Olympic celebrations. Let’s go for more golds Team GB – we’re behind you all the way!
