Update from the blogosphere #64 – ready for summer
The sun is shining today and it has got us all here at BrandAlley HQ raring for the weekend. Ideas of relaxing under the sun in Hyde Park, sipping a summery cocktail in Shoreditch house, or a lazy long walk along the river are things we’ve been looking forward to after the cold winter and on the blogosphere it seems the whole country is relieved to finally start thinking about summer!
The sun has certainly got us in the mood for an idyllic bike ride in the country. We saw an array of gorgeous pictures of ‘girls on wheels’ on Disney Roller Girl’s blog and it brought a flutter of childish fervour to our tummy’s. All of a sudden we want to frolic in a meadow and ride into the sunset on our bikes. The fairytale idea never dies, especially when the baskets are adorned with pretty flowers like Clemency Poesy’s.
It’s not just us, The Sweetest Occasion blogspot is thinking about picnics in the sun too! It’s one of our favourite things to do when the weather turns warmer and luckily The Sweetest Occasion blog has already thought of a great outfit for the occasion.
Is it too early to be thinking about getting the pedicured toes out in flip flops? We might be jumping the gun a bit with this but when we saw these oh so pretty glitter t-bar sandals on Shoe Wawa’s blog we went weak at the knees. The full on glitter across the wide banned strap is a subtle nod to the opulent 20’s trend that’s here this season. As always, Shoe Wawa has come up trumps in the pretty and practical shoe department.
But if you’re looking for another way to get you in the mood for summer why not spruce up your home so it’s ready for the warmer weather? We saw this stunning vinyl flooring on The Ana Mum Diary blog and now we’re in love! But if you’re just looking for a small update, a beautiful bunch of flowers does the trick just as well.
And for all those who just enjoy a good beer garden then we hope the weather stays like this all weekend so you get your Vitamin D!
Have a great weekend!
